About me

I'm Andy Chipperfield, and my work has involved UX/UI design since 2007. Previous to that I worked for 7 years in the City of London as a Catastrophe Modeller. I quit that job to do what I love.

I hand-coded my first website in notepad in early 1998, and have been using Adobe products since then too. Nowadays, I use the best tools and services for the job, which include Balsamiq, Sketch, Affinity Designer, inVision, Framer JS, Github and Atom to produce a variety of UX Documents, UI resources and fully built websites for clients, mainly in an agile and lean environment.

Outside of digital design, I like to woodburn and sell unique items of pyrography in my online shop Burncraft. I love craft beer (particularly a Porter, if we ever meet), and have a large soft spot for Bourbon. I'm married and have 2 young children, Neve and Noah, who take up most of my other free time. We're currently in the Express Entry pool to emigrate to Vancouver, hopefully before the end of 2015.
